(SLACKTRAXX ENT/MARIE ANN PROD)

Powerful, yet level-headed Business Woman Tanji Emmeni/Meni Abboud is a multi-talented entertainment professional and music mogul in the making that not only sings & writes, but also manages & molds new talent. Tanji began singing and writing in elementary school and continued throughout high school & college at Grambling State University. After college, it was off to Los Angeles, California where she embarked on a career as a model in print, and on the runway and an actress in videos, commercials & television. While in LA, she began pursuing her passion to sing and write songs again, which garnered her not only a digital artist deal with XL Production/Universal, but also the opportunity to work with and rub elbows with a slew of artists, producers, and music executives, like Maani Edwards, Haile Maskel of The Rastafarians, Robert “Storm” Daniels, Emanuel Officer, Manuel Seals, Robert White, Cornelio Austin, & DJ Antron to name a few. Tanji became part of a dynamic duo by joining Platinum Producer Ron “Slack” Jefferson. This marriage ushered in a new era combining the husband-wife team’s knowledge, experience, talent, and powerful connections. Together the husband and wife team owns a production company, recording studio, and sound & light company, they are a virtual one-stop-shop. What began as an artist deal is now a digital distribution agreement with XLP Distribution through which she runs the digital label Slack Traxx Entertainment,  through which several projects have been released worldwide. The team stepped into and gained success in the Southern Soul genre with production, songwriting, and releases. They were honored for their work (digitizing, restoration, and audio repair) on the C.L. Franklin Project which climbed Billboard charts to #1.  Tanji’s ventures have included managing and mentoring teen girl group Mademoiselle and the male group Shilo; she has directed music videos for several artists and produced live runway shows.  She is currently planning a strategic marketing and promotion plan for new releases and developing MarieAnn Production’s first family adventure film. Tanji Emmeni, Business woman,  Manager, Mentor, Singer, Songwriter & Mogul in the making; World, get ready!!
